Experience

I have taught 5 years for pre-k and after school programs and I am currently teaching my fourth year as a 5th grade teacher in Florida.

Teaching style

I love hands-on activities and projects. My philosophy is to have students engaged and become the "teachers". I encourage responsibility and manners.

My own education history

I have a bachelor's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in education - at first, out os high school, I wanted to be a secondary education/social studies teacher. I then changed my mind and went back for my master's degree in elementary education and I LOVE teaching elementary students!

Additional biographical information

I am a new mom and I am trying to be the best role model and teacher for my daughter and my students. I work very hard to show my students that they can do and be anything they want. I encourage individuality in my classroom and love when my students find success.
