This is an activity for your Literacy center where the student is given a sheet with 3 sentences on it. The sentence is missing a noun and the student will pick from the given pictures the one they think best completes the sentence. After picking the picture the student will read the sentence and then write it on the form provided. A picture sheet with the name written beside it is provided to help the student with independent work. The pictures and names could also be used as a memory game.
A splat game where your students will respond by splatting a sight word when it is read to them. This game includes the Dolch Preprimer and primer lists. The cards are color coded for easy sorting. This would be great in a literacy center. Cards could also be used for flashcards.
