These simple two-sided notes cover how to find the greatest common factor in order to simplify fractions. There are four practice problems included as well as a reflection piece at the end. An answer key is included.

I created this document to outline the different integer operation rules I have used with my students. Rules for how to add, subtract, multiply and divide are included. Practice problems are NOT included. I usually print these on half sheets of computer paper but have also printed poster size as anchor charts as well. I have a few colorful laminated sets that my students like to have on their desks as we are learning our integer operation rules.

These quick and easy notes help guide students through the steps of converting fractions to decimals using N.I.D.O (numerator in denominator out). It includes steps for converting mixed numbers to decimals as well as higher-level thinking questions to improve the rigor of your questioning in the classroom.
