Guided notes are my go-to; I prefer not to take up all of class time taking notes so we can do fun and engaging activities!
I like notes that are clear, easy to understand/read, and make important information OBVIOUS! Color-with-a-purpose is my jam.
Discovering concepts and sense-making activities are important. Playing games and having fun is my favorite! Bingo, Math Basketball/Grudgeball, The Unfair Game, The Dice Game (my own creation), Math Jenga, etc.
