Teaching style

I use a visual and interactive approach to keep learning fun, engaging, and memorable for my students. I believe in making lessons exciting through creativity, hands-on activities, and regular reviews to help students truly retain what they’ve learned. My goal is to make sure kids are not only learning but enjoying the process.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Over the years as a French teacher, some of the most rewarding “awards” have come in the form of student growth and connection. Seeing students who started out intimidated by the language go on to confidently hold conversations or even study abroad has been incredibly fulfilling. One of my proudest moments was when students that did not know how to read or understand the meaning of some words in French, learn the language at such a quick pace and become the best students in the language. It reminded me that the impact of teaching often shows up in small, personal ways — and those are the moments that shine the brightest.

My own education history

I have completed a 3-year specialized program gaining a College Diploma focused on education, with an emphasis on working with children and supporting those with special needs. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to the field of education, gaining extensive hands-on experience as a French teacher, tutor, and one-on-one instructor for students with special needs. I’ve spent the majority of my life working closely with children in various educational settings, fostering both academic growth and emotional development.

Additional biographical information

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of teaching French to students of all ages and abilities. I believe that every student has their own unique way of learning, and I love finding creative, flexible approaches that help each one succeed. For me, teaching is not just about lessons—it’s about building confidence, connection, and a genuine love of learning.
