Perfect for Halloween or for a fun activity around a mystery or suspense unit! I use Murder Mysteries as a form of reading comprehension as students analyze and evaluate each clue. The clues work like task cards where each student holds a piece of information that will help to solve the mystery. Students can work as a whole class or in small groups (add in some competition to solve first!) to solve the mystery of the murder of Mr. Fright the Mayor of Horrorville.
