Hello! We are a teacher and designer who have teamed up to create original lesson plans and activities for the classroom! We have more than 20 years of experience teaching English to middle school and elementary school students, as well as advanced degrees in English and Education. Experience has taught us that students learn best when they are actively engaged in a topic. That's why our products include hands-on activities, such as colorful task cards, games, and fun lesson plans. Teaching style
We like to focus on student engagement through hands-on learning and differentiation.
Awards & shining teacher moments
One of us is a member of Sigma Tau Delta (English Honors Society) and has headed or served on numerous leadership committees. The other is a member of NSCS Honors Society and has graduated with honors in English. The real rewards, however, come from students who are thrilled when they "get it" with new material learned.
My own education history
Together we have degrees in English 1-9, a Masters in Educational Leadership; a bachelor's degree in visual art & English, and an MFA in writing.
