I created these cards to accompany a printable map of South America with the countries labeled and with stars signifying capital cities (although it can be used with any printable map of South America). This is a good review activity for students participating in a study of South America or the continents in general. With these question cards, they not only review where each country is located, they also learn fun trivia about several of the nations in South America. I copied the question car

Great outdoor learning activity! I created this handout during a 2nd grade unit on Natural Resources. We took a walk around the school and the kids recorded the natural resources they observed. Then, they answered the questions independently. This activity is aligned with the North Carolina Essential Standards for Social Studies, but can be used for any state with comparable Social Studies standards.

This quiz was created to accompany the Reading A-Z version of Aesop's Fables (Level M). It includes five vocabulary words from the book (stork, nightingale, moment, moral, and peacock). A word list is provided and students fill in the blank with the correct vocabulary word choice. I used it for my class of 2nd graders, but it can be used for any student/class at this reading level.
