This google slides presentation can be used to introduce literal and nonliteral meanings. There is a video that will introduce the difference between literal and nonliteral statements. Students will have the opportunity to identify is statements are literal or nonliteral.
You can use this as an RTI benchmark tool. Can students identify uppercase letter sounds and lowercase letter sounds. This is in the format of a chart where the students will look at the letter and make the sound. There is a chart on the last page to record their scores.
