I’m an educator, librarian, and literacy specialist with over 15 years of classroom experience teaching grades 3–5 across all subject areas. I currently serve as a middle school librarian, where I design engaging, cross-curricular learning experiences that bring literacy and inquiry to life through the library. I create practical, student-centered resources that help upper elementary and middle school teachers boost engagement, strengthen literacy skills, and make learning meaningful, accessible, and fun across content areas.

The three volunteer forms in this set are designed to be purposeful, simple, and easy to use. They help keep track of all the little things and big things parents do to help our classroom throughout the year. I keep these forms along with my volunte

Teaching style

My teaching style is hands-on, movement-based, and designed to promote deep thinking. I value collaboration as much as independent problem-solving, giving students opportunities to learn with others while also building confidence in their own ideas. I enjoy taking on new challenges and encouraging my students to do the same. In my classroom and library, mistakes are viewed as a natural and valuable part of learning. I strive to create an environment filled with creativity, engagement, laughter, and meaningful learning experiences. After all, learning is just one big HOOPLA!
