Experience

I’m an educator, librarian, and literacy specialist with over 15 years of classroom experience teaching grades 3–5 across all subject areas. Teaching style

My teaching style is hands-on, movement-based, and designed to promote deep thinking. I value collaboration as much as independent problem-solving, giving students opportunities to learn with others while also building confidence in their own ideas. I enjoy taking on new challenges and encouraging my students to do the same. In my classroom and library, mistakes are viewed as a natural and valuable part of learning. I strive to create an environment filled with creativity, engagement, laughter, and meaningful learning experiences. After all, learning is just one big HOOPLA!
