Ultimate Algebra Unit Simulation! Overview: An interactive unit that incorporates activities promoting algebraic thinking and reasoning. Working in whole class, small group/pairs, and individual situations, students explore algebra as they take a simulated trip to the zoo. There is a total of 14 mini lesson (PowerPoint SHOW format), 14 math labs, and 1-2 pages of independent work per lesson. Your students travel through the zoo solving problems and searching for clues to solve duck's quack ups. They work together as a cooperative team in their quest to persevere.
