Classroom Tidbits

This checklist can be used as one tool or separated into two. This may help students to improve the quality of their work, to initiate and stay on task independently, and to be more resourceful in the classroom.

This form can be used to monitor conferring in writer's workshop. My students are assigned numbers, and I check them off after I meet with them. I can tell which students I've already conferred with and who I still need to see.

This form can be used during Writing or Reading Workshop for conferring with students. Teachers can also set their own goal on the number of students they want to meet with, as we all know that there is never enough time to see everyone! =)

This form can be used to record the results of the DRA for individual students.
