Give students a cup of 2 sided counters. Old Playdough containers work great! Have them "Shake and Spill" which will decompose 10 into different ways. Students record their answers and color the 10 frame. If you want to decompose a number other than 10, go for it. 6 versions including color and black and white. Print and pop into a clear page protector to use with a dry erase marker.
