About the store

Experience

I have taught 1st through 12th grade but the majority of my teaching experience is in primary grades. I have taught math and science in grades 6, 7 and 8. Currently I in my 4th year of teaching 2nd grade.

Teaching style

I use the Workshop Model to teach Math, Reading, and Writing. I encourage discourse amongst my students in order to teach cooperative learning.

I have attended both the Reader's Workshop and Writer's Workshop taught by the amazing teachers from The Reader's and Writer Project at Teacher's College at Columbia University.
