The NYS ELA Module 1 Unit 2 curriculum is based on the novel Esperanza Rising. In the lesson plans are entrance tickets- basically comprehension questions from each chapter. I have taken those questions and put them on a ticket! There are 3 levels of differentiated for EACH chapter - Just the question - The question with a sentence starter( great for EL's) - The question with multiple choice answers These tickets also include an answer key! We all use anchor charts in our classroom, and the kids definitely refer to them, but what happens when they go home and try to do their homework and they need those references?!
