These posters match my flashcards of the sounds done the spalding way. Each poster has the grapheme and all the sounds that grapheme makes. These posters are nice and clear when downloaded. There are 82 of them in all. They do not come with the blue background as in the preview. You can set them on any coloured background you wish for variety. This is a set of flashcards using the grapheme and all its various sounds method. Note that the pictures on here are not very clear but the cards themselves are a very clear product. Each card has the grapheme and then pictures. The number of pictures remind children the number of sounds they must say. The sounds are in order of frequency which means that the most frequently used sound comes first. The cards are meant to be printed back to back. On the front, this is what the children see. You

This is not just a fill in the worksheet unit. It requires students to think and do research. The work is differentiated in that students can complete their workbook according to their own level of understanding, vocabulary development, general knowledge and schema. This way, you can easily monitor and grow their vocabulary. Although I did prepare this for my Grade 2 class, it could easily be used for Grades 1 or 3 because of the students being able to write their own responses at their level.
