Graphic organizer to accompany a mini lesson for CC 1.6G. Use paper shapes to allow students to visualize and write their findings in their recording sheet.

Welcome Print and Laminate these cards. I keep them together with a binder clip and have students draw the numbers and number sentence on a sheet of paper. This can also be done on a white board. Students learn to identify the missing numbers by using both addition and subtraction facts. Includes addition up to 20. 4 Pages with 6 cards each.

Use these cards in a center and have students solve each card on their journal. Cut the Cards and whole punch the corner. Keep them together with a binder hoop. Students should practice writing number sentences and using pictorial representation for each word problem.

This includes a total of 10 word problems for Part Part Whole Practice with pictures for extra support. Print a class set and it can be used for 2 days (5 per day). It is labeled as Day 1 and Day 2 cut in half and give each section per day. Enjoy!

Includes 3D shape, name and real life picture example Students can fold a manilla paper into 6 columns and sort accordingly. Enjoy! The objects ARE NOT in order, the students must sort and glue in correct columns.

Students can practice word problems by identifying the missing number. Students will use keywords "fewer" and "how many more" 16 cards total in 3x3 cards to be printed on card stock paper, can be laminated to last longer and use during small group or for independent practice. Skill/Objective:determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction equation when the unknown may be any one of the three or four terms in the equation

Center Activity Poster that involves using numbers in various ways. Student needs to roll a 2 digit # or pick from a deck of cards and complete all the activities in the poster.

2 per page interactive journal template for Solving 2 step word problems. In the bottom of the table you will find 2 word problems, 1 division and 1 multiplication. Cut and glue each problem on the correct side. Have students identify the operation. Than work together to complete the table so that students can refer to it in the future. Enjoy!
