Practice negative number changes with a quick, easy game! I play this game with my students when we're introducing how negative numbers "change" a starting value, and it works as a great transition to adding negative numbers. The game takes about 5 minutes to set up and explain to students, and about 10-15 minutes to play! Have your students quickly practice linear equations using a hidden message activity! Each question has a correct "letter" associated with it that spells out a hidden mystery word at the end. An answer key (with work!) is included. This activity allows for students to self check their work as they go. If a letter doesn't fit in with the rest of the message, students can check their work! Enjoy this activity as a quick refresher, an exit ticket, or as a homework assignment.

Host a quick and engaging station activity! This handout is free and has a hand-written space for the station question, any work needing to be shown, and the final answer. These are a perfect accompaniment to all of my station activities, or feel free to use this handout to make your own station activity! While my expertise is math, this station activity can be modified to other disciplines as well :)
