My background in education includes working for YBM PSA a high-end Kindergarten School for one year as a home room teacher in Seoul, Korea. I also have three years of experience as an elementary English teacher through the EPIK program, which I’m certain, is of merit for a candidate to have experience in. I have experience of working in China for 5 months in the private sector on a short term contract as well. In addition to this I have extensive knowledge of teaching practices, private and public school working practices and also have considerable understanding of languages, culture and workplace. I aim to provide enthusiastic teaching, with a strong reward system to keep students motivated and engaged to increase their potential learning. I take pride in creating high grade materials customized and targeted to students. I have a solid teaching methodology and experience with different teaching strategies. Can work independently or in cooperation with other teachers. I am well versed in the English language, currently I teach specific classes for grammar, phonics, critical thinking, creative writing and theme based lessons. In regards to administrative duties, I compile reports on all my students each term as well as providing weekly feedback for all the parents I am the direct homeroom teacher for. Extra abilities accorded to me by my degree, are creating slideshows, student photography and cinematography, film editing and IT skills.
