Experience

I have experience working closely with children in both home and classroom settings as a nanny, homeschool teacher and substitute teacher. Through these roles, I’ve supported students across a wide range of learning styles, behavior needs, and emotional development levels. My hands-on experience has given me a strong understanding of the importance of clear expectations, consistency, and visual supports to help students feel safe, confident, and successful throughout the school day.

Teaching style

My teaching style is calm, supportive, and structured. I believe students learn best when they feel understood and know what is expected of them. I focus on creating routines that promote independence, positive behavior, and emotional awareness while keeping learning approachable and low-stress. I aim to support the whole child by combining gentle guidance with clear boundaries, using simple tools that are easy for both students and educators to use.

Awards & shining teacher moments

While I don’t focus on awards, my most meaningful moments come from watching students gain confidence, regulate their emotions, and succeed with the help of simple, consistent systems. Seeing children feel proud of themselves for meeting behavior goals or expressing their feelings is what inspires the resources I create at CM Learning Studio.

My own education history

I have a Masters degree with a strong focus on organizational leadership, communication, and working effectively with others in supportive and structured environments. My studies emphasized understanding group dynamics, ethical leadership, problem-solving, and clear communication skills that directly influence how I approach working with children and creating classroom resources. Through this coursework, I developed a strong appreciation for structure, consistency, and thoughtful planning, especially in environments where individuals have different needs and learning styles. My educational background has helped shape my ability to break complex ideas into simple, manageable systems that are easy to understand and implement. This foundation guides the resources I create at CM Learning Studio. Each product is designed to be practical, intentional, and realistic for real classrooms supporting both educators and students with tools that promote clarity, organization, and confidence throughout the school day.

Additional biographical information

CM Learning Studio was created with a country-boho, down-to-earth approach to education in mind. I believe learning spaces should feel calm, welcoming, and supportive for both students and teachers. My goal is to provide print-and-go resources that save time while helping children build emotional awareness, positive behavior habits, and confidence one simple tool at a time.
