I enjoy integrating across the curriculum in order to meet the time constraints and demands of standards through hands-on STEAM activities. I believe that children learn by doing and are inspired to be active participants when they are having fun. I incorporate art integration as frequently as possible.

I was a non-traditional student and got a late start on teaching, but I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom to my four children for ten years before pursuing my love of education.
