About the store
Christopher (Chris) Moore is an educator and has been in the teaching field for nearly 20 years. He currently works at Euclid High School in Euclid, Ohio, as an Intervention Specialist, teaching students who have emotional disabilities. As a youth advocate, Chris believes that teaching goes beyond what can be learned in books and the classroom. Chris implements life skills and real-life experiences into teaching and introduces new ways for his students to learn, think and grow. Chris is a chief advocate for the youth that he teaches and watching his students thrive, despite life’s adversity or their disabilities, is his dream and greatest passion. Chris believes that he has the unique ability to reach the unreachable. Much of his knowledge and experience has been gained through working with students in an alternative school setting at Positive Education Program (PEP) in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Chris has worked with youth through many avenues including, tutoring, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to students, coaching high school football and youth soccer, and even being a part of youth programs, such as the R.E.A.C.H. program through University School in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to teaching, Chris has a wife and three kids of his own and is a leader in the community serving teens and adults in his local church.
