Students fill in a matching chart that contains the following columns: correct steps to solve, solve, solution, and check.
This assignment helps students break down solving equations by first having them determine what steps they need to take to even solve the problem. Once they determine the steps they cut out the card and glue it next to the problem. Next, they solve the problem and check for the solution in the cards that can be cut out and glued next to the solved equation. In the last col
