About the store
I've been teaching for nearly 20 years. My undergraduate degree is in Health and Physical Education. However, my first teaching job was teaching self-contained special education at the middle school level. Since then I've taught health and PE, self-contained special education at the high school level, middle school math (7th and 8th grades), and co-taught ELA and math as the special education teacher as well as the general instruction teacher. My certifications are many, but I think I've found my niche in math.

Connect 4 - Integer and Order of Operations Review
This is a great partner activity to use at stations in order to review integer operations and basic order of operations. Students work in pairs in order to play. Players take turns simplifying expressions. If the player is correct, he puts his initials over that square. If the player is wrong, the opponent puts his initials on the square. Have your students evaluate expressions by substituting various values for x. When they evaluate the expression correctly, the answer box turns green. Students see instantly whether they're grasping the concept. Prior to sharing with your students, make sure all answers are deleted.
