Dr. Seuss Theme Mathematics Center
Create your own center by printing the green eggs, writing mathematics equations on each egg and number each egg. Then pass out the worksheet to the students to solve the problems.
Can be used as task cards for group work, centers, independent work.
Update: I have also created a set of green eggs with multiplication and division of decimals.

Students will enjoy this craftivity. They will find the factors for 16 numbers, list whether the number is prime or composite, connect two prime numbers together (and two composite numbers together), then list their common factors.

Enjoy Valentine's Day with a fun review of the basic operations.
Students will compute:
6 multi-digit addition problems (regrouping)
6 multi-digit subtraction (borrowing)
6 double-digit multiplication
6 long division (1 digit divisor)
Students will enjoy playing Bingo after calculating the problems and using fun Valentine's Day inspired counters--M&M's, conversation hearts, Sweet tarts, Hershey kisses/hugs, etc.

My own education history
I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2006 and started a long-term substitute position in a 5th/6th English Language Arts and Social Studies classroom. I was hired into my school district in which I student taught and I have been here ever since. I then decided to go back to Bowling Green to earn my Masters Degree in Administration. I graduated in 2013 with a Masters in Educational Administration.
