This routine is designed for a very short daily read-aloud. Neuhaus defines the time allotment for this portion of the lesson as approximately three minutes. When selecting read-alouds, I consider a range of factors. Each day intentionally includes:a brief revisit from the previous lesson one clear comprehension focus limited

Teaching style

I believe in empowering students to believe in themselves and their abilities—especially when learning feels hard. My teaching is rooted in structured, evidence-based practices with a heavy dose of encouragement. I strive to create a safe space where mistakes are part of the learning journey and students feel confident enough to try again. Every child deserves to know they CAN do hard things—and my job is to guide them there with clarity, compassion, and consistency.
