This contains 5 mini multiplication memory games. Each game is on one sheet of paper. Just print out on colored paper and cut apart. There are 12 matches per sheet. Perfect for partner practice.

Listed is a resource that I made for instruction in a 3rd grade classroom. Students were working on adding and subtracting to find exact answers and estimates. I started in the tens and moved into hundreds and thousands. I used this in a small group setting.
This activity is great for morning work, morning meeting, community building, or for your fractions unit! Student pick words to describe themselves and say what fraction of themselves that word is. They pick a color, fill in their key, and shade that amount of their fraction circle. For example: I am 2/8 kind. Students are provided a word bank, but I also encouraged students to come up with their own words!
Listed are resources that I used to support estimation in a 3rd grade classroom for their addition and subtraction unit. Great for independent practice or small group instruction.
This worksheet includes 4 word problems with illustrations. 3 problems are two by two single step (addition or subtraction). 1 problem is multistep with 3 single digit numbers being added. All problems are bird themed.
This number line can be created as a whole class or in groups. I used a piece of painters tape for the line (can be placed on a rug or on the wall). Students first place the red cards, and then the yellow cards containing random numbers between 0-100. Great number sense activity that allows for a lot of "Math Talk."
2 sorts included. Students are sorting to find that numbers that do or do not round to a given number. Both sorts have numbers that go to the thousands place. One sort rounds to the nearest hundred, the other to the nearest thousand. Great for a small group or independent practice.
This Holiday Homework is for over winter break. Students complete and shade one a night. 20 activities are included. This was made for 4th graders, but could easily work for 3rd as well. A few fill-in-the blanks are included where I put our schools online math and reading websites. I also included a blank for the due date and teachers name. Some activities are meant to be less time consuming than others. Enjoy!
This is a sort to help students closely examine word form and standard form. The sort goes to the hundred thousands place. This sort could be done independently, in partners, groups, or as a station. I used it for a remediation group and gave students a card and they had to reach out and grab their correct card when I said go. It could also be used as a whole group activity where students have to walk around the room to find the person who has their matching card.
This chart helps students practice identifying the place and values for digits in a given number. For this practice, the numbers go to the hundred thousands place. Students are provided with a word bank for the place, but not the value. Great for and entrance or exit ticket, independent practice, or remediation.
This chart helps students practice identifying the place and values for digits in a given number. For this practice, the number goes to the ten thousands place. Students are provided with a word bank for the place, but not the value. Great for and entrance or exit ticket, independent practice, or remediation.
This practice is designed for 3rd grade students who are comparing fractions with models. In this practice students use the models to identify equivalent fractions.
