Solving Word Problems Using CUBES Posters and Example
Solving word problems using CUBES. I use a different CUBES acronym, as shown in the preview. These pages make a great visual for students. It's color coded to help them see each step performed. This is a great way to solve word problems, especially ones with extra information.
3rd - 8th

Greater than, less than, and equal to alligator mouths. These are great for laminating and hanging around the classroom. I hang them up and do a problem everyday, with expressions on each side that they solve using Order of Operations.
