Experience

Throughout my journey as a teacher, I have had the opportunity to experience many different children of all different ages, abilities, and cultures thanks to the difficulty in finding a tenure track position. I am always creating activities that meet the needs of my particular learners. The good news is, these activities may help you and your learners too!

Teaching style

I pride myself on creating a classroom community that promotes differences, varying levels of ability, and growth mindset. I strive to create a culturally response classroom where students accept themselves and one another as family. I believe there should be a balance between social/emotional needs and academic needs. The resources I create are in line with my teaching style and philosophy. I hope you find them helpful!
