I spent several years teaching in early childhood classrooms, from PreK and Kindergarten all the way through 1st Grade. I've always believed that learning should be hands-on, playful, and meaningful — not just filling in worksheets. After stepping away from the classroom to raise my three children, I kept creating resources that reflect everything I believe about how young children truly learn.

I'm a big believer in learning through play. Research shows it — and years in the classroom confirmed it. When children are engaged, having fun, and moving their hands, that's when the real learning happens. Inspired by Montessori principles, I design resources that invite children to touch, sort, match, and explore. My task cards are built for independence, self-correction, and that little spark of pride when a child figures it out on their own.

My proudest teaching moments weren't awards — they were the quiet ones. A child finally understanding a concept they'd been struggling with. A student beaming because they corrected themselves without asking for help. Those moments are why I create what I create.

Hi, I'm Sabrina — a former early childhood teacher, mom of three, and the creator behind CogniKids. I'm based in Lyon, France, and I absolutely love designing educational resources and playful activities for young children. I've taught PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade, so I know firsthand what works in the classroom — and what truly captures a child's attention. For me, creating a new set of task cards or crafting a fun design for kids is just as exciting as watching a child use it. I truly believe that when learning feels like play, children thrive — and that belief is behind every single resource in this shop.
