This is a project I assign to my AP Calculus students as a way to review for the AP. It is based off the calculus book for dummies concept. Each chapter has an individual set of requirements, all created by myself. Please feel free to edit as you see fit. It is a great project to review for the AP calculus AB and BC exam. I assign it to the students and let them have free reign on how they want to present the books. Requirements are no loose leaf paper and it must be typed if they have poor hand

This is a great quick review game for the AP exam or for your limits unit! Cut the cards up and pass out one card to each student in the row (the game is set up for a row of 5 but it can certainly be adjusted). Student 1 will solve the limit question and write their answer on their card and pass it back. Student 2 will have to use Student 1's answer in order to solve the limit question. This is a great activity used to review solving one and two step equations. This can be used in pre-algebra or an algebra class. There are 30 task cards (some students can receive more than one depending on class size). My students love using this as a do now activity. It gets all students involved, even ones who don't usually participate!

This is a great tool to review the different types of functions students are responsible for recognizing for the common core algebra curriculum. I have students draw a picture, the general formula and any other important pieces of information. I have attached what I have students write down. We then glue the flip book in their interactive notebook.

This is another relay race I use to review related rates with my AP Calculus students. It gets the kids involved and carefully working through questions.

This is a great tool to review the methods of factoring students are responsible for in common core algebra! Attached are my notes on how I teach the methods. My students love the flip books and use them when completing assignments.

This is a great tool to review for the common core! This flip book is organized so that students are able to practice the different combinations of inequalities they are required to know how to graph in the common core algebra course. I emphasize the use of highlighters so that students can easily see where the solution set is when graphing systems of inequalities. We then glue this into our interactive notebook. This is a great activity to use at the end of the school year for review OR during the year when you are teaching graphing inequalities. It is a fun way to get to know your students!

This is a cooperative learning activity I created to introduce Regular and Compound Interest. Each card is color coded to represent easy, medium or hard. The answers are on the back. I printed the cards on different colored paper and had a key on the board that represented easy, medium or hard. Kids were to work on the easy cards until they mastered it and then move on.

This worksheet is great to use to get your students to discover the different rules used when multiplying powers with the same base! Use it as a discovery lesson and watch the math talk take off!

This is a great way to review all applications of polynomials. It is a relay race that includes multiplying polynomials, finding the axis of symmetry and finding the vertex.

These are self created cards I used for a speed dating activity in the classroom. Print the worksheet and each question has the answer in the adjacent box. I would cut the cards and fold them over so one side had the question, the other had the answer. This cards could be used for speed dating, an "I have who has" class activity or in any way you see fit. I hope you enjoy!
