Elementary teachers know how beneficial AR is for their students. Here's an item that is meant to help our little readers become more autonomous when using AR and choosing the best books for themselves. This product combines two of my favorite items:the AR Bookmark and AR Punchcard! It provides your students with a visual tool to identify the books in their reading range as well as to track how many times they earn a hundred percent on their AR quizzes. This bookmark helps students choose books that are within their Independent Reading Levels as determined by Accelerated Reader (A.R. and STAR). After determining your students' reading ranges, print the bookmarks onto cardstock, highlight the ranges, and laminate. I normally require that my students start with the lowest level on their bookmark and work their way up to the harder levels.
