Designing your own Theme Park by using Area and Perimeter
This culminating lesson is a great way to get students excited about using area and perimeter. Students will be given a task to design their own theme parks! They must draw out their shapes and objects in using the right area provided on the grid. Students are responsible for counting the perimeter and completing the chart.
