This is a grading sheet for essays, papers, and most general writing assignments. Over time I have been able to identify patterns in student performance on essay exams and take-home papers, which led to the development of a distinct grading sheet that has prewritten general comments along with space for personalized responses. The prewritten comments consist of the most frequent issues that an instructor is likely to encounter in grading a writing assignment. Instead of having to continuous
