Do your students struggle to identify what operation to use when reading word problems? Let this slideshow serve as a review and practice for that skill!
This is a great tool to have in the primary classroom! Simply cut out the arrows and laminate. Student can use the arrows when they are trying to solve simple equations using a hundreds chart. For example, if students are given 20+50 to solve, they can start at 20 and count by ones to the right or they can count by 10's down. I have found these to be a great tool to use with students who have devlopmental delays or students who simply don't understand how to use a hundreds chart!
