Simple slides on adding word endings. There are slides for three different ways we add endings to words. One letter ending or those CVC words we double the last letter. Words with a silent E we drop it, please. Lastly, for words with two consonants at the end, we simply add the word ending. This is a fun and simple activity to review or introduce these rules for your young students. There is a space next to each word to write the word with an ending attached.
This is made to be printed and laminated then used in a task box during free time, centers, or literacy/ writing time to help students with letter formation
This is a fun activity for students to do or to leave on the desks for parents during curriculum night or back to school night. The parents can color in white crayons on the paper that evening and the students get to water color and reveal the image from their parents the next morning ( I use morning work time) The other use would be for students. They can both draw the picture and them water color over it.
Alphabet cards are a fun decoration or flash card to help students learn to read and write their letters. They help with phonetic awareness and the kids do not have to know the breed of the dog being used. These cards have fun illustrations of dogs that are sure to bring some joy.
Simple token chart/ Work for board for students. This is the perfect size to hole punch and attach to a lanyard or fanny pack key ring. I simply attached soft velcro over the magnifying glass and on the back. Then the rough side to the bugs. Each time the student is on track or does what they are asked they take a bug from the back and put it on the front. Once they get all five they earn a reward.
This is a good and fun parent questionnaire to get to know a little bit about your students on back to school night or to put in their folder the first week of school.
