In learning about the compensation and constant difference strategies for addition and subtraction, sometimes kids (and adults!) get the two confused about how and when to use them. We often teach these as the 'give and take' and 'give and give/take and take' strategies. This game will allow them to decide and put them to the test. If the equations balance, they will have chosen the correct strategy. If not, they'll have to try a different one for the next round. Game spinners use 3 digi
