The cut-out is a review of 5.NBT.1. It allows students to practice 1/10 of and 10 times as much. I have used this activity for a station.
This is an excellent review of place value as well.
The resource can be used during small group or a station task. The cut and paste activity allows students to practice converting decimals to expanded form from standard form or word form.
There is an answer key attached. Thanks!
The puzzle is a great to use as a summarization activity or station activity with partners. I have also assigned the puzzle for students who have already mastered order of operations and need a challenge. I have used this in 5th grade, but I think students in 6th or 4th could possibly use it as well. There is an answer key attached.
I use this as an activity to begin the Order of Operations Unit (5.OA.1) or as a review station throughout the unit. This activity allows students to figure out which answer matches the order of operations card. I have added incorrect answers if students solve addition before subtraction and multiplication before division. I see this all of the time in 5th grade! Also, the answer key spells a word backwards for an easy check.

If students still need to review reading and writing decimals in expanded form, then this 28 card matching game can be used as support. The game follows standard MCC5.NBT.3.
The second set is in color.
The game can be played in numerous ways. One way that I have used this game is during stations. I cut out the 28 cards so that students can mix them up face down. Then the small group of students flip over two cards until they find a match. It only counts if they can read the number correctly.
This game allows students to review place value. It can be used as a matching game or a whole class activity. There are 32 cards that only have whole number examples.
One set is in color.
Students still having trouble reading and writing decimals?
Try this 'I have Who Has' game that reviews the Common Core standard: 5.NBT.3. While playing the game, students will be able to review how to read, write, and compare decimals and whole numbers.
