Teaching style

Our Teaching Style: Hybrid Approach We embrace a hybrid co-teaching style that blends multiple instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of my students. This flexible approach allows me to adapt to each lesson, classroom environment, and individual learner. For example, we may begin with a structured lecture or demonstration to introduce a concept, then shift into student-centered activities such as guided practice, group discussions, or collaborative projects. By weaving together elements of direct instruction, inquiry-based learning, and cooperative engagement, I ensure that students not only understand the material but also apply it meaningfully. This adaptability is especially valuable in both music education and special education, where every learner’s needs, strengths, and pace of growth can differ. The hybrid model enables me to foster critical thinking, creativity, and independence while still providing the structure and support necessary for success.
