This powerpoint models the distributive property and how it relates to decomposing numbers. It can be used with McDougal Littell Lesson 2.1 but is also a stand alone lesson. The 14 slides include fill in the blanks, definitions, real-world modeling, and an exit ticket.

This interactive 11 slide PowerPoint uses animations and number lines to model the skill of subtracting integers. This goes along with, but is not limited to, the McDougal Littell Pre-Algebra textbook lesson 1.6. Activities include modeling word problems, use number lines, substituting, and each student creating their own word problem. It finishes with an exit ticket.
