Once students have learned about combining like terms, expressions, and distribution, this lesson will help solidify their knowledge by deconstructing expressions into two factors. This lesson reviews factors, how to find factors with variables, and allows students to discover a method to factoring an algebraic expression.

This interactive PowerPoint Lesson allows the students to discover how to solve one-step equations. Using number tiles, word problems, and fun pictures, the students will be able to recognize when to add or subtract to isolate the variable.
