Visual Math Dictionary -- Keywords / Vocabulary
A visual representation for key math vocabulary ranging from 6th grade through 9th grade. 50 pages with 300+ words!!! Students feel smart using fancy words, and they can really understand the meaning through the visual representation!
This can be used in multiple ways in the classroom:
-Print out poster-size for classroom!
-Flashcards for activities / graphic organizers / games!

Student Exploration / Discovery -- Rules of Exponents
Students have the chance to feel super smart when they are able to come to their own conclusion about math rules!!
In this recommended paired activity, students explore by using the calculator and deductive reasoning what the rules of exponents are. THEY come up with the rules and THEY come to their own conclusion! My experience is that students have a lot of fun with this and feel really accomplished when they figure it out!
