These 12 task cards can be used to practice determining the central message or lesson of characters in short stories. The characters have challenges/ problems they face and students must decide which choice best describes what they learned from the character.

This worksheet is great practice for students learning about multiple meaning words! Students will read two sentences. Students will choose the best word that completes both sentences. This could be used as a daily grade, quiz, or test.
