This Boom Cards deck goes through the process of getting a job, including filling out an application, preparing for the interview, practice interview questions and the follow-up recommended after the interview is over. Students can make selections and drag and drop items to show their knowledge.

This deck is designed to break down the skill of making a social inference with practice using both pictures and written scenarios. Pictures and topics are teen-related and provide opportunities for practicing observation skills as well as group discussion while making connected guesses.

This Google Slide document is designed to explore the concepts of neurodivergence and neurotypicality, with the underlying theme that one is not right or wrong. Students will learn what each word means and then use their understanding of themselves to compare how they view and interact with the world in comparison to typical social norms. With this understanding comes an opportunity to learn how to advocate for oneself, which is also practiced within these slides.

This Google Spreadsheet is an easy way to document student attendance as well as what each student/group will be working on in an organized format. This is a Boom Cards deck that reviews four vocabulary strategies with examples. After going through the four examples, there are ten short practice stories including Tier 2 vocabulary words. Students can read the stories and then practice using one (or more) of the four strategies.

This deck is a more simplified version of another conversation deck I created. There are ten topics that could be utilized with students with more significant language needs. Ideas for how to elaborate to keep the conversation moving forward are also listed with each topic.
