Holiday shopping with a budget

For my students who are better at math, I use this instead of the store circular cut and paste. I like to use this activity for independent work when I unexpectedly have to stop teaching (need to talk to someone, handle a behavior, etc.). This activity works best with the larger stores, such as home improvement stores and department stores. I have a separate activity that I use for the grocery store flyers.

Teaching style

I love integrating technology into my lessons as much as possible. I try to touch on as many learning styles as possible in each lesson.

My own education history

I attended Saint Anselm College and majored in psychology. I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree and started working with adults with disabilities. While working with them, I realized my favorite part of my job was educating. I continued working full time and attended Southern New Hampshire University to earn my Master's Degree in Education K-8 and Special Education PreK-12.

Additional biographical information

I have a rescue dog, who is my whole world. Adopt don't shop!
