This lesson is modeled after EUREKA Math Lessons (Geometry Module 1, Topic B, Lesson 7 and Grade 8 Module 2, Topic C, Lesson 12). This includes a SUPER BOWL SUNDAY Discovery Activity, Exit Ticket and Review of Angle Relationships. One of my favorite lessons! The way we print it in the classroom as 2 to a page so the kids have a booklet but you can print it however you like.

This introduction utilizes students prior knowledge of a "line of symmetry" of a butterfly. For my ENL students, I found this to be a great visual resource that was used throughout the entire Quadratics unit in Algebra 1.
