You might wonder why secondary students would need to make a Name Card. I assure you that many students will be challenged by this activity. Students make their Name Card on the bottom half of a landscape page. Once the card is printed, it's folded so it will stand up for display. The Hour of Code takes place worldwide every year during the first full week of December. I have always enjoyed doing an Hour of Code class with my students. It' s a great way for everyone in your class to play around with coding. It's something different for many students and a nice break from the normal class routine. Over the years, I've come up with a system that involves very minimal prep for me and maximizes the time my students have to experiment with these activities. I developed my sys
