About the store
I am in my 7th year of teaching. The first 3 were spent teaching a writing workshop course along with honor's English. For the last three years, I have been teaching computer applications. This Apps course, as I call it, is primarily used to teach the Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and MovieMaker. Prior to teaching, I spent 6 years in the advertising industry both on the creative and account sides.

Microsoft Publisher Yearbook Project
This project is my students' favorite project year after year. This Microsoft 2010 Publisher download is a great project to get to know the students at the beginning of the year and introduce them to Microsoft Office 2010. Additionally, it can be a wonderful review and culminating project at the end of the year to use this Publisher program. What is Publisher? It is a simple-to-use basic publishing program that can create newsletters, posters and flyers for school.

Teaching style
My philosophy is that if you make the work interesting, the students will want to do it. Therefore, I strive to make all my projects applicable to the students' lives and be based around subjects they might not normally get to study in school. Subjects like sports, pop culture, music and teen/tween life tend to get the best results.
