My name is Katie McMahon, MA CCC SLP and I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist. I have been a school-based SLP since 2013. I am a Survivor of Trauma and I speak at colleges and conferences on my experience with Trauma. I care deeply about creating a pathway to a future where Consent is the expectation at all levels across our lifetime. I create resources and supports for Educators and Parents on Consent Education.

I love creating engaging lessons for students and spark their joy. I love using books with my students and encouraging discussion and collaboration.

I love iced coffee, beach time, and traveling! I love reading books on empathy, kindness, and respect with my students. I am passionate about social justice and activism and I am the host of the podcast Voices Not Victims, supporting survivor centered conversations and amplifying the voices of those leading the way to create a safer tomorrow.
